Abs!!!
Most people want abs because it looks sexy. But the real reason for abs is for strength. How did I develop my abs? Through the sport of gymnastics were it teaches me about balance, strength, and more strength, focus and many more helpful things. When you look at a body of a gymnast you will see that they all have something in common, massive toned muscles and a great core to match.
Abs help with;
Efficient breathing for performance, endurance, and recovery
Power in performing intensive workouts for explosive performances
Better core twisting and rotating for faster swift performance such as twisting to catch the ball in football
Supports back muscles
Upper and lower stability by controlling the supporting movements of the legs and arms
