Baby Magic. Family fun workouts

You can workout as a family right from your home. As adults with careers, events, and other things going on sometime you don't have that extra time to go to the gym. When I became a single mom 18 hours away from my family and support system, just finishing my MBA program and working the regular 9 to 5 career job, one thing I've learned to do was to do the difficult things by myself with my child.
Once you leave the hospital, you start that tough road of carrying that 8 pound baby in a car seat everywhere you go until they are older. Use that as your first exercise. Usually in the gym you will pick up 5 pounds and workout with it. Why not skip the stroller and continue to carry the child. As I see it, it is more bonding time with your child while gaining that muscle you want to gain.
Create more family time with you and your child. The most effective workout is playing and staying just as active as your child. If your child wants to run around the yard and play, do it also. Run, jog, keep up with your child and watch yourself gain more energy and maintain a balanced weight.
Why add more exercises or exercise equipment? Just play. The reason I say stay active, stay fit, keeps you young and your body amazing. Your child is developing everyday, why not redevelop your body doing the same things.
